Using solarOS
solarOS provides public marketing pages, provider discovery, and product workflows for solar and home energy service operations. Visitors may browse public pages, compare provider information, and follow links into Product App Surface workflows. Contractors and account users are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and using the platform only for lawful business purposes.
Provider and homeowner workflows
Provider profiles, service plans, ratings, coverage areas, and business information may be supplied by providers or generated from Product App Surface records. Homeowners should evaluate providers independently before hiring or purchasing services. solarOS may route requests, but providers remain responsible for the work they sell, schedule, and perform.
Payments, subscriptions, and third-party services
Certain workflows may use third-party payment, signature, messaging, monitoring, or identity services. Those services may have their own terms. Fees, billing terms, cancellation policies, and service commitments are presented in the applicable Product App Surface workflow or provider agreement.
solarOS monitoring terms
When a homeowner purchases a provider maintenance plan that includes solarOS monitoring, solarOS may receive system data from connected monitoring providers and use it to display production, alert, device, and service information in the homeowner portal and provider workflows. The homeowner is responsible for connecting supported monitoring accounts or devices, keeping access active, and understanding that monitoring data can be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable when third-party systems, internet service, utility data, device credentials, or hardware are unavailable. Monitoring supports service visibility but is not a guarantee that solarOS or the provider will detect every issue, prevent system downtime, or provide emergency response.
Platform changes and availability
solarOS may update public content, provider discovery, product features, pricing models, or availability as the launch surface matures. The platform is provided without a promise that every feature, provider, service area, or integration will remain available at all times.
Contact
Questions about these terms can be routed through the contact page. Contractor platform questions should use the contractor inquiry path so the request reaches the right team.
