We build them with you
During setup, our team turns your price lists and job steps into templates.
Every solarOS account comes with templates for common install and service jobs. Use them as they are, or change the prices and steps to fit how you work.
Each quote template holds the price lines, the scope, and the payment schedule. When the customer signs, solarOS creates the project with its steps in place.
Covers the site survey, design, permits, utility approval, install, inspection, and permission to operate. Deposits and progress payments are tied to each stage.
Add storage to an existing system. Covers the site check, permit and utility paperwork, install, commissioning, and monitoring setup.
Covers the permit, the utility shutoff, and the inspection. Run it as its own job, or add it to a solar quote when the job needs one.
Each service template sets the price, the report the tech fills out, and when to bill.
A diagnostic visit with a trip charge. If the tech finds more work, create the repair quote straight from the report.
A visit to check performance, safety, and condition. The tech fills out the inspection report, and you bill when the visit is done.
One cleaning visit, billed in full when it's done.
The visit a maintenance plan includes. You schedule it from the customer's plan, so there's nothing to quote.
Covers the warranty check, the return authorization, the swap, and recommissioning. The old and new serial numbers are saved with the system.
Take a system off the roof for roof work, then put it back. You bill half after removal and half after reinstall. A written scope lists what's included.
For one-off jobs. The accepted quote becomes a single work order with the quote's title, description, and scope. It's billed in full when done.
Each kind of job has its own report. It lists the questions to answer, the photos to take, and the outcome to pick, like Pass or Repair required.
The default for any visit without its own report. The tech writes a summary of the work done on site.
Checks the panels, roof, wiring, and mounting, with voltage and inverter readings. It compares expected and actual output, with required photos. It ends with “Pass,” “Minor issues,” or “Repair required.”
Used for inspection visits. The tech tests the inverter, monitoring, and battery. Then they check everything from the array to the meter and record the system's specs.
Confirms the install matches the design. It records commissioning tests, labels, and cleanup, with required photos from the array to the monitoring screen. It ends with “Ready for inspection” or “Return required.”
Records the inspector and the city or county. Each electrical and structural item gets a pass or fail. Required photos cover the main panel, inverter, array, and labels.
