solarOS may collect information visitors provide directly, such as contractor inquiry details, and technical information needed to operate public pages, route handoffs, protect the service, and remember cookie preferences. Product App Surface workflows may collect account, customer, property, quote, payment, service, monitoring, and communication records needed to provide the platform.
How information is used
Information is used to operate solarOS, respond to contractor inquiries, route homeowner care paths, show provider discovery content, secure the service, measure reliability, prevent abuse, and improve launch pages and product workflows. Optional tracking is not loaded unless the visitor's stored preferences allow it.
Sharing
solarOS may share information with providers when a homeowner starts a provider workflow, with service providers that help operate the platform, and when required to comply with law, protect rights, or complete a business transaction. Public provider profile information may be visible on the Marketing Surface.
Choices
Visitors can manage first-party cookie preferences from the Marketing Surface. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are honored by disabling optional script categories. Account users may have additional choices inside the Product App Surface.
Security and retention
solarOS uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to a launch-stage operating platform. Information is kept for as long as needed for the purposes described here, legal obligations, security, and operational records.
